I've quietly been keeping an eye on what's happening with the period War of the Worlds made by Pendragon. The theatrical release date slipped, then slipped again, and was overtaken by the release to video.

I've just been reading the Amazon reviews. Oh dear. I did enjoy reading them but, sadly, for the wrong reasons. The movie has inspired many people to write very scathing, and in some cases, funny pieces. It is compared to a number of famously bad movies - such as Plan 9 From Outer Space - and never, I fear, do the comparisons go in its favour!

I still want to see for myself, but - I have a bad feeling about this...
