I am also really pleased to know that they have already committed to a third season. (And I think you are about as wildly happy as a Gavin can get to hear that bit of news! So what does a wildly happy Gavin look like?) :-P And from a story enthusiasts standpoint I think bringing back the Cybermen is a great idea. (There was only that one series, right?) That particular series of episodes raised a lot of interesting questions for me but of course no answers were given, so I am looking forward to some good stories being developed from the Cybermen backstory. **Hopes that Steven Moffat gets to write the Cybermen episodes!**
Well, if I'm sure no-one is looking, I'll raise a fist (at the elbow, none of this ostentatious straight arm in the air stuff), hoist one corner of my mouth into a grimace and go "woo." - taking great care not to introduce any unnecessary exclamation marks or capitalisation. (!)
The Cybermen appeared on a number of occasions, but in Tomb of the Cybermen you've seen their best outing.
Tomb of the Cybermen is excellent, but when it comes to Cybermen, I've always been rather amused by Silver Nemesis. Mind you, its so daft perhaps it should have been called Silly Nemesis.
