Proper Snow!

For the first time in some years, we have some proper snow. It's about three inches deep [sharikkamur may insert a justifiable Icelandic sneer here] and still falling; our footprints are disappearing.

PS: We've had more than that: 6-8 inches or more. It's very, very thick.

It snowed into the afternoon here, but then started melting. There's still plenty left, but not so much as there was at its peak.

Very impressive. here in the 'Frozen North' it's green and sunny and there isn't enough snow on the mountain to go skiing. :)

Clearly you've stolen our snow. Enjoy it!

I'm almost jealous - even at night in a 'hill station', it's still quite warm.

thanks - hopefully keeping you all amused as well as informed - so overall I'm glad of the trouser incident yesterday.

Looking forward to **finishing** putting up the photos in September. (That's going to be a bit of a slog since but hopefully I can just put up the pix with links to the relevant bit of blog.)
