Hmm odd, it is just looking at your interests I think. If you try it on a blog with none it does not do anything. The herdlike score is very common interests, the unique is interests on one else has and the other are scored in between?

Stupidly, looking at Interests hadn't occurred to me, even though it explicitly states it's using them for the "unique" statistic. I guess it would have been more obvious if I hadn't scored 0% for "herdlike".

Even the friend-related stuff should have given me a clue, as it was obvious how that came about - I don't have a huge number of LJ friends (normal), but they're practically all mutual (keen to please).

That only leaves the writing style stat as being vaguely interesting, and I would guess it's based on a readability calculation, like Gunning's Fog Index, SMOG, Flesch Reading Ease or Flesch-Kincaid.

These days I think the writing style is above normal if you do not use TXT SPK 4 posts. And intellectual if there are no spelling mistakes. Am I getting old and grumpy?
